The Ivy & Pearls Foundation has been awarded a $7,500 grant from the YWCA of the Mid-Peninsula
Donor Advised Fund Committee! The general operating grant will support Rho Delta Omega’s
implementation of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated’s international program. This is the 5th
grant received. “The Mission of the YWCA is the elimination of racism and the empowerment of
women, and all applicants to our Fund must address how they work for this double Mission in their
applications. We have found that the Ivy and Pearls Foundation well met this standard, and we were
pleased to support this all-volunteer run organization, and their work in the community as well as their
Black College Awareness Fair.” – Kay Philips, Executive Director, YWCA of the Mid-Peninsula (Retired) and founding member of the YWCA of the Mid-Peninsula Donor Advised Fund Committee
